What a race at Donington Park! The rain came down hard, turning the track into a slick challenge and setting the stage for an intense wet race. I managed to qualify on pole with a lap I felt pretty good about, but I was a bit cautious heading into Turn 1 and lost the lead to Derek Cyphers. A few laps later, he made a mistake, and I reclaimed the lead. From that point on, Jesse Lyons was all over me, keeping up the pressure as we battled side by side into Turn 1 for a good portion of the race. With just 10 minutes to go, we made contact, sending me off into the grass. Despite that, I fought back and secured a solid P2 finish, earning valuable points for the championship. On to the next one!
