The season opener for Season 12 in PCA Sim Racing has kicked off in 2024. Barber Motorsports Park is a challenging track located in Alabama. Bryce qualified P2 with a very tight field of cars. Taking the lead in turn 1 on the first lap getting the jump on Michael Polasek on pole.
For 45 minutes Bryce withstood the pressure from the cars behind within a second for the majority of the first stint. With tires getting worn towards the end of the stint and maneuvering through traffic Bryce held his ground.
After the first pit stops, Bryce rejoined in P4 due to a mistake in calculating the fuel.
“While I don’t think I had the pace to pull away from the cars behind I did the best I could to make the most of leading the race. After the mistake in the pits and trying to catch up for the last 10 minutes I settled for fourth to bring home points. Lots of positives to take and already looking forward to Brands Hatch in two weeks!”
